Early for this time of year, we are having a heat wave here in the western and central part of France. It will be in the mid 90's for a few days and tomorrow it will reach almost 100 degrees!  The upside of this heat is the time in the mornings.  There is nothing like waking up to the raucous birdsong and feeling the gentle flower-scented summer breeze through the open windows.    Before the temperature rises, the morning is perfect for having le petit dejeuner (breakfast) under the fruit trees while enjoying the view of our enormous linden and cedar trees (albeit...
